Tasks

The Senior Infrastructure Engineer – Wet Utilities will lead and manage the design and delivery of wet infrastructure networks, including irrigation, stormwater, sewerage, potable water, and firefighting systems for large-scale and mixed-use master developments. The role requires extensive experience in wet utilities design and authority coordination within Dubai, ensuring full compliance with Dubai Municipality (DM), RTA, and DEWA standards and regulations. -Participate in design coordination and progress meetings with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders. Leadership & Management -Support project management in risk identification, mitigation planning, and decision-making processes. -Ensure all designs comply with the latest Dubai Municipality (DM) Infrastructure Design Guidelines, DEWA water standards, and RTA requirements. -Review and approve design reports, hydraulic calculations, layouts, and construction drawings. -Supervise and mentor team of wet utilities Design engineers and coordinators. • Manage consultant performance, scope control, and quality of deliverables. -Manage and track authority submission and approval processes across all project stages. -Respond to authority comments and facilitate timely resolutions to ensure smooth project progress. Project Delivery -Coordinate wet utilities designs with other infrastructure and architectural disciplines (roads, dry utilities, and landscape). Authority Coordination -Serve as the main point of contact with relevant authorities such as DM, DEWA, RTA, and DDA for all wet utilities matters. -Manage and supervise consultants and internal design teams to ensure timely and technically sound design delivery. -Prepare and monitor design delivery schedules, ensuring compliance with project timelines and budgets. -Support the preparation and review of BOQs, technical specifications, and IFC packages. -Lead the design, coordination, and review of wet utilities networks, including potable water, TSE/irrigation, stormwater drainage, and sewer network, both Gravity and Pressurized networks. -Provide technical support and clarification during tendering and construction phases.

What You Bring

Experience: Minimum 10-12 Years Computer and software proficiency: Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and electrical design tools. Educational Qualification: MSc Degree / bachelor’s degree in mechanical or civil engineering, Project Management certificate is an advantage. -Excellent command of hydraulic modelling tools (e.g., Water GEMS, Sewer GEMS, or Info Works). -Results-oriented with excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. -Familiarity with GIS-based utilities data management systems -Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and infrastructure design software. -Chartered Engineer or Professional Engineer accreditation. -Well experienced in management and Design of Wet Utilities and relevant ancillary pump stations for large Developments -Deep understanding of Local Authority regulatory framework for infrastructure approvals (RTA, DEWA, DM, etc.) -Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. -Prior experience with developer-led masterplans or consultancy firms handling authority liaison. -Proven ability to lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams.
