Managing day-to-day construction site operations and overseeing subcontractors.

Tasks

-Ensure Quality standards are maintained at all times. -Create progress reports on a daily basis and ensure that any significant information is communicated to management -Monitor / raise and track variations on site in conjunction with the Quantity Surveyor and Project Manager -Inspect works in progress and completed work, to make sure it complies with project specifications -Ensure all materials, supplies, tools and equipment are procured in a time efficient manner -Keep in close contact with members of the site team at all times -Liaise with architects, engineers, surveyors and planners -Attending daily briefings, Record Daily site activities (daily log) -Oversee operations on a day to day basis while monitoring and tracking progress -Ensure work complies with building regulations as well as other legal requirements -Co-ordinate and manage subcontractors and other labour workers -Handle onsite incidents and emergencies in a proactive manner -Ensure work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations.

-Excellent client facing skills -Thorough knowledge of building practices -Proven track record of working to strict timescales, with strong attention to detail -Excellent organisation time management skills -Valid Safepass and Manual Handling certification desirable -3rd level qualification or trade background with relevant experience
