Tasks

-Facilitate solutions through collaboration with the design team and project team. -Create and maintain forms, templates, and procedures for green building certifications to help projects meet their sustainability goals. -Tracking and benchmarking projects’ green performance for internal and external reporting on construction projects (water, energy, carbon, waste, LCAs, etc.) -Supporting successful implementation of various green building rating systems on projects. -Creating educational materials and training. -Research emerging technologies and new standards in sustainability.

What You Bring

-Successful candidate will also possess outstanding communication and time management skills, computer skills, and the ability to work in a collaborative environment. -Ideally experienced with whole-building life-cycle assessments -Aptitude for collecting and analyzing large data sets -Understanding of construction processes - RFIs, submittals and shop drawings, project schedules, estimating, etc. -Bachelor’s degree in a sustainability-related field or Construction Management with up to 5+ years of experience. -Demonstrated passion for sustainability in the built environment. -Ideally experienced with LEED or other similar green building certifications. -Ideally has a sustainable credential such as LEED Green Associate or LEED Accredited Professional -Understanding of embodied carbon and the process by which it’s measured -Understanding of key concepts related to ESG and corporate sustainability strategy. -Understanding of construction documents.
