Tasks
The HSE Engineer supports the Company HSE Manager/Project HSE Manager to implement the HSE management system. The role assists in planning, implementation, evaluation and analyzing HSE activities at site to ensure HSE target and objectives are measured and achieved. -Identify hazards, unsafe work conditions, and unsafe practices on a daily basis; raise observation reports and ensure corrective measures are implemented. -Assist in the implementation and compliance with the Project Health and Safety Management Plan (PHSP) and Project HSE Management Program. -Address and report violations daily, providing appropriate recommendations. -Advise supervisory staff regarding accident prevention and improvement of work methods. -Arrange, conduct, and participate in training sessions, HSE Committee, and coordination meetings. -Support the implementation of HSE initiatives, participate in safety awareness programs, and contribute to incident reporting and resolution in alignment with company and IMS policies. -Monitor timely reporting of project HSE performance and ensure achievement of HSE goals. -Assist in leading and supervising HSE officers on-site. -Monitor the execution of HSE activities on the project to ensure compliance with the Project HSE Plan and HSEMS requirements.

What You Bring
-2 years of GCC experience is a prefer -Familiar with Qatar and International Safety Standards. -Over 5 years of total work experience, including 3+ years in HSE roles. -Experience in hotel construction and high-rise building projects is a prefer -Knowledge of Integrated Management Systems (IMS). -Strong understanding of environmental regulations (air, wastewater, hazardous waste). -Awareness of pollution prevention and waste minimization initiatives. -ERP knowledge, preferably with SAP functional skills. -Knowledge of all relevant safety regulations, procedures, and instructions. -Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Level 6 Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety (OHS). -NEBOSH Diploma or any related technical safety certifications. -Knowledge of Chemical Material Management, including handling of MSDS.
