Overview

Perform planned/reactive maintenance on water and wastewater plant equipment.

Tasks

-Perform planned maintenance, ensuring compliance and safety of plant and equipment -Responsive maintenance to equipment faults on shift -Regular inspections, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement -Installation and testing of new equipment -Accountability to safely conduct the role within D4C and Sydney Water's safety, compliance, and environmental policies

What You Bring

-Truck Licence -Fault finding and rectification, including reporting and record maintenance -Chemical dosing equipment experience -Hydraulics and pneumatics -Permanent – fulltime role Mon to Fri on day shift 7am start -PRV experience -Understanding and application of leading policies and procedures -Must be physically fit -Mixers, blower, gearboxes, skimmers, actuators and valves -Troubleshoot/Fault finding experience -Australian Drivers Licence -An Australian Recognised Trade Certificate

Benefits

-Generator maintenance servicing, connections during outages -Leave entitlements, rostered days off (RDO's) and benefits -1 week every 8 weeks – afternoon shift 3:30 start, with an ‘on-call' component and weekend roster -Afternoon shift is paid at 15% + on-call has an allowance of $111 per day (on call is 1 in 8 weeks) -Favourable hourly rate, plus shift penalties, allowances and overtime -Rates per hour $51.72 + additonal $2 for working at Treatment Plant
