Tasks

The Procurement Officer is responsible for Geovert’s commercial success in delivery, ensuring projects are delivered within budget and scope. You’ll manage end-to-end purchasing for our growing organisation, consolidating demand, sourcing competitively, negotiating pricing/terms, and keeping inventory flowing to programme. You’ll collaborate with the leadership team as a hands-on Procurement Officer, partnering with Estimating, PMs, Engineering, Site teams and Legal to secure the materials, plant and subcontracted services that power Geovert’s geotechnical and natural hazard mitigation projects across infrastructure and mining. Day-to-day, you’ll own supplier and subcontractor relationships, run competitive sourcing and negotiations, draft and award POs/subcontracts, and drive value against budgets and savings targets. -Support market-leading civil infrastructure and mining projects, delivering the materials and services that keep complex works moving safely and on time. -Lead competitive sourcing and supplier management for Geovert’s critical materials and equipment. -Grow your procurement career with Geovert, a leader in natural hazard mitigation and ground engineering.

What You Bring

You’re a proven Procurement Officer, preferably from ground engineering or civil construction, bringing technical fluency, an eye for detail and a continuous-improvement mindset. We offer a flexible and autonomous environment where your ideas are valued. -3–5 years’ procurement experience in civil/construction or engineering services, ideally with exposure to ground engineering/geotechnical works. -Confident negotiator on pricing, PO terms, delivery schedules and warranties; track savings and total cost of ownership. -Experience procuring specialist plant, geotechnical consumables and subcontracted services. -Degree in supply chain, commerce, engineering, construction management, or a related field (CIPS or equivalent certification highly regarded). -Proven end-to-end procurement capability: market scans, RFQs/RFTs, bid levelling, negotiations, award and contract administration. -Experience a collaborative, multicultural and down-to-earth team environment where your ideas for improvement are welcomed and valued.
