Support project manager in establishing workflows, communication with design disciplines, and monitoring project schedule and budgets.
Recognizes discrepancies in results and communicate findings and recommendations.
Working with team members will be responsible for designing pumping and conveyance facilities, and treatment plant improvements with limited supervisory assistance.
Exercises judgment in developing and analyzing engineering alternatives and provide well justified recommendations.
Determines additional information that is needed to advance studies and designs and coordinate obtaining this information.
Communicate with facility operations personnel to understand the goals and objectives of their needs during studies and design.
Performs design calculations, prepares equipment or material specifications, and provides direction to drafting personnel.

Master’s degree a plus.
Background in hydraulics and pumping systems design.
Responsible for or willingness to learn project management, client interface and business development of future projects.
Familiar working with and providing input to designers using AutoCAD for 2-D and 3-D detailed design of water or wastewater facilities a plus.
Must be able to manage multiple work assignments and should be able to prioritize work with supervisory assistance.
Professional Licensure and Society Memberships
Certified Engineer in Training is required.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Bachelor of Science in Environmental, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering is required.
5 years or more of experience in detailed planning and design of water and wastewater facilities including pump stations, water treatment facilities, and wastewater treatment facilities.
Familiarity with NYC or Philadelphia Metro area clients a plus.
