Tasks

-Participate in project design reviews -Prepare bid evaluations. -Candidate should maintain the HSSEQ management system, and the tools required to implement it. -Preparation of Area classification drawings. -Preparation and Review of all discipline engineering and design deliverables such as slds, specifications, datasheets, BOM, Panel and Cable schedule, interconnection wiring drawings etc -Identify/report technical concerns and solutions in a clear and concise manner. -Preparation of Requisitions for quotation and for purchase. -Perform inter-discipline squad check. -Prepare design basis for the project as per the client design criteria. -Review installation drawings -Review vendor documents and quotations for compliance with project requirements. -Preparation of power control and distribution philosophy for electrical system. -Provide guidance for preparation of all layout drawings ,3D models and mto generation. -Decide the substation layouts optimizing the size and design of the same along with the design team. -Candidate should contribute to creating a workplace where everyone feels compelled to intervene whenever they observe an unsafe act or condition to ensure that everyone goes home safe and well and the environment is preserved in the successful operation of our business. -Preparation and review of calculations for all Electrical Equipment like Power transformers, DGs, Battery Sizing, Capacitor sizing, Grounding and Lightening protection, Cable sizing etc.

-Adherence to HSE norms -Experience level: 8-14 years relevant Electrical Design Engineering experience -International Codes & Standards and Best Engineering Practices that apply to Electrical. -Proficiency in understanding Electrical Operating philosophy -Travel required: At times for job requirements, at various other Kent offices across the globe. Also, it may involve deputation with other Kent offices / Client offices on a short-term or long-term basis. -Candidates having experience in Engineering office of Reputed Consulting Engineering Companies preferably in the field of Refinery, Petrochemicals, Chemicals, Fertilizers, Oil & Gas will be preferred. -Proficiency in Power system studies and analysis. -Problem analysis and resolution -8-14 years of basic and detailed engineering experience in Upstream Oil & Gas, Refinery, & Petrochemical industry. -ETAP/SKM Powertools -Decision Making in own work area -Electrical workflow and interdisciplinary co-ordination -Effective verbal and written communication
