Tasks

-Assist with loading and unloading cut table -Adjust equipment as necessary to perform efficient and proper blasting -Perform preventative maintenance procedures for blast and recovery systems -Help with staging of steel plate for upcoming programs -Operate plasma & oxy fuel cutting table -Clean cutting table trays -Operate sandblasting equipment to remove mill scale from steel plate and assemblies -Actively maintain a clean & safe work area -Label and sort cut parts -Organize and label steel plate in the storage yard

-Able to lift up to 70 lbs. regularly -Practiced at critical thinking, decision making and problem solving -Team player, detail oriented, flexible and able to work with minimal supervision -Adaptable, flexible, dependable, and trustworthy -Must be able to work overtime on occasion and be flexible with work schedule -Ability to follow instruction -The ability to work in all weather conditions -Positive attitude and teamwork are crucial -Able to bend, stoop, squat, and twist -Strong initiative and ability to work with minimum supervision -Able to be on feet continuously for long periods of time -Attention to detail -Safe & efficient forklift & overhead crane operation -Safety first mindset and attitude -Mechanical and technical aptitude
