Tasks

-Ensure all engineering works comply with all relevant statutory standards, regulations, and Codes of Practice -Assist the Project Lead / Project Manager / Design Manager to carry out: -Pursuing projects, preparing technical and financial proposals, obtaining internal approvals and tender submissions. -Carry out Civil and Structural analysis and design of coastal and marine infrastructures such as quay wall, port, jetty, retaining walls, , etc. for local and/or overseas projects. -Carry out structural and geotechnical design of shallow and deep foundations. -Supervise both design and/or site work. -managing subcontracts (i.e: soil investigation contract, Accredited Checker contract, hydraulic surveyors, hydraulic study experts etc) -Plan for site investigation and result interpretation. -Engage and manage stakeholders, such as clients, design team, site team and other relevant parties.

What You Bring

-Strong written and verbal communication skills in English -Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in large scale marine infrastructure projects using British Standards and Euro Codes. -Team player and able to multi-task -Basic knowledge of specialist marine studies such as berthing and mooring analysis. -Master’s degree in Structural Engineering would be advantageous. -Proficiency in engineering software such as SAP, STAAD Pro, AutoCAD, -Well-versed in Microsoft Office Suite of Software (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Excel etc) -Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering recognized by BCA/IES/ACES and from reputable university. -Disciplined, self-motivated and resourceful. -Experience in contract administration will be advantageous.
