Full-time Maintenance Fitter handling welding, pump repairs, and emergency maintenance in Shannon

Key Responsibilities

Tasks

-Responding to emergency calls -Assembling components so they are ready for installation. -Performing MIG, TIG and other types of welding methods depending on the project -Removal of waste IBCs - minimum two times per week. -Responding to pump derprimes/run issues. -Decontaminating and rebuilding of diaphragm pumps -Coordinating with the labour crew for efficient installations. -Ensure compliance at all times with Health and Safety and legislative requirements. -Reading and interpreting project plans. -Using and maintaining specialised machines and tools.

What You Bring

-Basic computer knowledge essential. -Experience in the following areas - Utilities / Facilities. -Formal training / certification in any of the above. -Excellent communication skills both verbal & written -Proven track record in Preventative and Reactive Maintenance in a similar environment. -Plumbing Senior Trades or Diploma in a relevant engineering discipline. -At least 3 years' relevant experience.
