The Role

Overview

Lead engineering teams to deliver multi‑site EPC electrical projects, managing budgets, schedules, and client relations.

Tasks

-Manage the Project engineering teams for multiple sites across the US -Work with construction management and commissioning In excection of the projects -Work closely with Sr VP of Engineering to support development and execution of projects. -Conduct duties consistent with the Company's (APG’s)vision and purpose, quality objectives, and defined policies and procedures. -Track deadlines, targets, and budgets on projects in the Project execution stage. -Clearly set expectations with Sales on deliverables and manage the project engineering team to meet these expectations in an efficient manner. -Review complex engineering tasks and particularly important engineering work efficiently and accurately. -Play a supporting role in business development activities leading to award of the contract including client relationship development, project-specific positioning activities, taming arrangements, proposal preparation support, oral presentation support, and contract negotiation. -Ensure that technical issues are exceuted within the framework of APG policies and procedures.

What You Bring

-The candidate must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills. -Bachelor's degree in Electrical engineering from an accredited institution is required. -Professional Engineering License from the Illinois and and other states is preferred. -Must be comfortable presenting to clients and team members. -Some regional travel is required, up to 20%. -Substation, Solar and BESS project experience is preferred.
