Tasks
-Executes the materials management process for assigned business units -Provides market data to support supplier selection, qualification and on-going performance management -Initiates, negotiates and contracts spot-buys and manages relationship with suppliers -Prepares simple materials supply agreements containing standard terms and conditions with little management oversight -Negotiates and executes purchase orders and resolves invoice discrepancies -Conducts routine negotiations successfully -Analyzes responses to simple bid requests, distills commercial differences, and makes succinct recommendations for contract award -Participates on materials management project teams -Conducts business dealings with integrity and regard for corporate guidelines, legal and environmental regulations
