The Role

Overview

Assist Maharashtra farmers via Khetpe app, handling queries, documentation, and coordination.

Tasks

-Share farmer feedback with the internal teams to improve app features and services -Provide assistance in Marathi and Hindi regarding app features, usage, and troubleshooting -Contribute insights from field interactions to help improve user experience -Ensure timely resolution of farmer issues and maintain high satisfaction levels -Maintain structured data in CRM/Google Sheets or ticketing systems (training will be provided) -May involve early morning or evening support hours to match farmer availability -Participate in periodic review meetings with product and operations teams -Guide farmers through app onboarding and digital literacy support -Collaborate with field and operations teams to ensure consistent communication with farmer networks -Prepare daily/weekly reports summarizing key insights and recurring issues -Record all farmer interactions and categorize them as: -Handle inbound farmer calls and queries with professionalism and empathy -Escalate unresolved or technical issues to the product or tech teams -Support the setup and transition to WhatsApp and in-app chat support systems

2. Educational Background -Fluency in Marathi and Hindi (spoken and written) – essential for farmer communication -Understanding of agriculture/farming practices and rural farmer challenges -Prior experience in agri-tech companies, farmer cooperatives, or agricultural institutions -Ability to manage high call volumes efficiently -High empathy and active listening skills -Organized and detail-oriented approach to documentation -Bachelor’s degree (preferred) in Agriculture, Agricultural Engineering, Rural Development, or a related field -Ability to learn and work with CRM/ticketing software (training provided) -Understanding of rural Maharashtra’s agricultural context -Basic English for internal communication and reporting -Basic computer and smartphone literacy -6 days a week, with flexibility required during high-demand periods -Strong interpersonal and verbal communication -Collaborative mindset and willingness to learn new technologies -Excellent communication, patience, and empathy -Problem-solving and troubleshooting ability -Experience assisting users with low or varying digital literacy levels -1–3 years of customer support experience, ideally in agriculture or rural service sectors
