Tasks

-Technical Sales & Solution Engineering: Lead technical pre- and post-sales efforts, including discovery meetings, needs analysis, and delivering compelling product demonstrations together with Trimble Channel Distribution Partners. -Sales Operations & Forecasting: Deliver accurate and timely monthly and quarterly sales forecasts to senior management. Ensure disciplined use of Trimble sales tools, such as Salesforce, for all sales and account management activities. -Industry Engagement: Organize, conduct, and participate in railway industry events and trade shows. Represent Trimble by getting involved in industry association committees and presenting at conferences. -Strategic Growth: Identify and pursue opportunities for growth within existing accounts, focusing on major construction and maintenance projects to generate revenue across the entire Trimble portfolio. -Achieve Revenue Targets: Meet and exceed revenue goals within the assigned territory by developing and executing effective sales strategies through a combination of direct and indirect-led sales. -Account Management: Nurture and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with customers, acting as a trusted advisor. -Customer Advocacy: Act as a liaison between the customer and internal teams. Gather and collate customer feedback for Product Management and Engineering to champion the needs of the railway market and influence future product development. -Implementation & Partner Enablement: Act as a key resource for distribution partners, enabling them to effectively promote and demonstrate Trimble solutions through comprehensive technical training and sales support.

What You Bring

-A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (with a focus on Transportation or Rail), Geomatics Engineering or a related technical subject is highly desirable. -General knowledge of geospatial technology (GPS, surveying, scanning, etc.) and its application in solving industry problems is required. -A minimum of 7 years' experience in the railway industry is required. -The ability to travel at least 50% of the time to meet with customers is required. Travel requirements may vary based on project and business needs. -A strong and demonstrable understanding of the railway sector is required, including its operational processes, regulations and technological challenges. -Experience in selling complex technology solutions (software and hardware) is preferred.
