Tasks

* Coordinate subcontractors, confirm work sequencing, and help maintain jobsite cleanliness and organization * Ensure safety protocols are followed; document daily activities in project management software (Procore, PlanGrid, etc.) We're seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support field operations on NYCHA and public housing rehabilitation projects across New York City. This role is site-first, working closely with the Lead Superintendent to maintain schedule, safety, and quality on active, tenant-occupied buildings. * Support the Lead Superintendent in day-to-day field supervision of interiors, MEP upgrades, and exterior restoration work * Help manage NYCHA / DOB inspections, access coordination, and communication with building staff * Walk units and common areas to verify progress, generate punchlists, and follow up with trades for completion * Assist with logistics planning, daily huddles, toolbox talks, and workforce tracking * Maintain professional, respectful tenant interaction on occupied units and public spaces

What You Bring

* Experience with occupied renovations or multi-unit residential preferred * 2-6 years experience in field supervision, assistant superintendent, foreman, or project engineer roles * Procore / PlanGrid or related platform experience is a plus * Comfortable coordinating subcontractors and addressing field issues in real time * Working understanding of trade sequencing across interiors and basic MEP scopes * OSHA 30 required; 62-hour SST Supervisor preferred or willing to obtain
