Tasks

-Participate in the development of preliminary layouts and system details using CAD software; experience with AutoCAD or 3D modeling tools like Autodesk Inventor is a plus. -Assist in reviewing and verifying standard mechanical design calculations, learning how engineering theory is applied in practice. -Observe and assist with field and construction-related activities to understand how mechanical systems are implemented in real projects. -Learn how design information is communicated to CAD Technicians and translated into construction documents. -Support senior engineers in the analysis, design, and selection of mechanical components used in movable bridge systems. -Perform other project-related tasks as assigned, contributing to a variety of engineering and design efforts.
