Tasks

-This individual will be responsible for creating both detailed and high-level drawings of warehouse designs, material handling equipment, conveyors, work areas, and fulfillment center storage solutions based on current templates, as well as providing design support for future templates. Drawings will require a high level of detail in 3D (Revit) layouts, as well as 2D (AutoCAD) plan views and corresponding elevation views.

What You Bring

-Bachelor’s degree or higher in a STEM field — Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physical Engineering, Aerospace, Physics, Mathematics (any math-heavy focus). -Strong communication and writing skills. -Knowledge of material handling equipment, conveyors, sortation systems, storage systems, and warehouse design. -We're looking for an outstanding Mechanical (CAD) Engineer who combines superb technical and analytical capabilities with a demonstrated ability to get the right things done quickly and effectively. -The ideal candidate will be able to work independently with numerous stakeholders and deliver work to a high standard. -Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with ambiguous direction. -Familiarity with online file/document management systems such as BIM 360 and ACC. -Ability to establish priorities, work independently or within a group, and operate with minimal supervision. -3+ years of professional experience working with AutoCAD and Revit software. -5+ years of professional experience in a fast-paced design environment utilizing both AutoCAD and Revit, including layout and sheet creation. -Parametric modeling bckgrnd with experience creating detailed families, parts, or dynamic blocks that utilize code or functions to drive modularity.
