The Role

Overview

Maintain and repair mobile welder electrical/mechanical systems per safety and quality standards.

Tasks

-Follow program directives to perform mechanical testing on various components of the mobile welder and auxiliary pieces of equipment. -Complete final acceptance and testing process for the mobile welder and the auxiliary pieces of equipment. -Utilizing Holland’s NCR (nonconformance reporting), OFI (Opportunity for Improvement) and Quality Control Processes to maintain the Quality and Continuous Improvement objectives. -Disassembly, servicing and reassembly of machinery components back to functional operating condition meeting existing standards. -Working in full compliance and procedures of the Holland Company Safety program to ensure a safe working environment. -Wearing and use of all PPE and any additional safety related gear to perform job functions. -Using a variety of hand and power tools and testing equipment to service the MOD mobile welder and auxiliary pieces of equipment. -Appling safety & 5-S discipline, practices and enforcement of Holland Company safety policies. -Occasionally assisting other department personnel in completing any objective or tasks with proper guidance from key personnel.

What You Bring

-Have good math skills. -Exposure on a regular basis to mostly indoor and sometimes out door weather conditions. -Minimum 3 year’s experience working on or performing maintenance and or repairs on various heavy industrial hydraulic and mechanical operated equipment preferred -Ability to work while standing, walking, bending, stooping, twisting and sitting for extended periods are required to perform basic job functions. -Experience with reading and using mechanical drawings and BOM’s (bills of materials) to determine actions required for repairs of equipment. -Have Basic computer skills. -Ability to successfully complete all pre-employment testing required by Holland L. -Focused environment that supports safety and housekeeping practices. -Understanding and following all Holland and MOD Division Operating Policies and Guidelines. -Ability to lift up to 50lbs with reasonable accommodations. -Employee should be quality conscious, self-motivated with strong work ethic and positive attitude. -Ability to work 40 plus hours. -Experience with using multi meters for testing, servicing and troubleshooting of electrical equipment. -Ability to climb in and out of mobile operating equipment. -Experience with reading and using electrical schematics to service and troubleshoot systems. -Use of electrical and technical skill sets to perform general maintenance and repairs to the electrical and mechanical systems of the MOD mobile welder following PM program directives. -Must have High School diploma or equivalent. -Experience in use of basic hand and power tools. -Have good oral and written communication skills. -Experience with testing and working with 480 AC, 120 AC and 24 and 12-volt DC voltages and components. -Achieve and maintain Forklift driver certificate.
