Support division counsel with real estate transaction coordination and legal documentation.

Tasks
-Prepare and submit requests for approval from Division to Region/Corporate on Purchase and Sale Agreements, Earnest Money Releases, Subordination Agreements, and issuance of contractual Notice of Suitability that align with the terms of the contract and are supported by financial and legal documents -Attend and host meetings with various departments in support of the Division’s projects -Analyze deeds, surveys, site plans, easements, HOA/CC&R documents -Organize and maintain daily correspondence -Prepare first drafts of Purchase and Sale Agreements and related amendments for attorney review -Inform Division on a regular basis regarding status of transaction and anticipate next steps -Conduct all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company -Communicate with outside counsel, title officers, and escrow officers regarding deadlines and Division’s needs -Analyze weekly funding reports from Finance Dept -Request and analyze title commitments -Store and manage project files and archives in the company’s electronic filing system -Draft real estate closing documents and review settlement statements

What You Bring
-Ability to manage multiple responsibilities with attention to detail -Paralegal certificate -Excellent written and oral communication skills -Understand company business processes and policies to recommend necessary changes to contracts -Ability to work overtime -Experience in acquisitions or real estate transactions preferred -Ability to prioritize deadlines and quickly pivot between a variety of tasks -Must work within tight deadlines and budget(s) and have time management skills -High school diploma or general education degree (GED) -Strong organizational skills -Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school a plus -Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook email -A minimum of two years of related experience
