The Role

Overview

Manages regional inventory, oversees warehouse staff, and coordinates with internal teams.

Tasks

-Fix inventory issues within the system. -Assist with Purchasing Cockpit clean-up. -Maintain Aged inventory levels for Branch/Regions. -Maintain stock lists/settings. -Communicate effectively with customers, co-workers and supervisors in a professional and courteous manner -Run and distribute reports regionally (aged inventory, cycle count progress, not picked reports, etc.) -Troubleshoot warehouse/purchasing issues. -Guide the warehouses with suggestions to improve warehouse function and processes. -Aid Finance with claim invoice questions, and invoice research/corrections about receiving/quantity/cost issues. -Inventory Cycle Counts. -Ensure Warehouse Associates are trained on proper SAP procedures. -Proactively identify, analyze, address, and resolve problem areas, conflicts, and issues -Create garage sale tickets for aged material sold at the branch level. -Submit returns to vendors/create RTV purchase orders for the warehouse. -Monitor warehouse/purchasing following best practice procedures.

What You Bring

-Working knowledge of internet, inventory, project management, spreadsheet and word process software and order processing systems -2-4 years applicable job experience -Displays willingness to make decisions -Bilingual experience preferred, but not required (English/Spanish) -Exhibits sound and accurate judgment, supports and explains reasoning for decisions, includes appropriate people in decision-making process, and makes timely decisions -Interpersonal skills to develop and maintain professional working relationships with builders, vendors, subordinates and co-workers -Strong organizational skills to ensure adequate tracking systems are utilized to maintain and track all required information associated with the ordering and production process -Associates / 2 year Technical School -SAP Experience
