Tasks

-Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and internal standards (OSHA & DOT) -Deliver and coordinate OSHA, DOT, and site-specific safety training programs. -Manage regional deployment of the LYTX Dash-Cam program and ensure accountability at all levels of the organization -Conduct safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments at branches and field operations. -Monitor driver behavior via telematics platforms and escalate high-risk events for corrective action -Investigate incidents and near misses, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.

What You Bring

A leading wastewater disposal and collection company is looking to appoint a Regional (Transportation) Safety Manager to oversee safety and DOT compliance throughout the organization. Reporting directly to the Director of H&S, this role is responsible for ensuring that safety policies and regulatory compliance standards are embedded into daily operations. The position would be based near Dallas, TX and would require nationwide travel to company locations. -A minimum of 5 years experience managing safety programs in the transportation, logistics or environmental services industries -Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety or related filed preferred -Experience with telematics/dash-cam platforms -Strong communicator, who is able to interface with internal and external stakeholders at all levels -Strong understanding of OSHA and DOT regulations -Lives locally in the DFW area, and happy traveling to company locations as required (circa. 30-40%)
