Tasks

-Update and report progress for all assigned works to the Resident Engineer / Project Manager for inclusion in project progress reports. -Ensure strict adherence to HSE standards and safe work procedures during all site activities. -Ensure all works are executed in accordance with RTA, DM, and other local authority requirements . -Check, verify, and coordinate for all assigned services, including civil, structural, and MEP interfaces . -Review and comment on contractors’ technical submittals , shop drawings , and method statements related to microtunneling and stormwater systems. -Support the Resident Engineer in resolving site-related technical issues and providing input for potential design modifications or value engineering opportunities. -Coordinate with the Head Office design team for material submittal reviews, design queries, and technical clarifications. -Maintain close coordination with the supervision team to ensure quality, safety, and progress objectives are consistently achieved. -Review and verify updated records to ensure accurate preparation of as-built documentation . -Oversee and inspect construction activities for stormwater pipelines, microtunneling drives, shafts, manholes, valve chambers, washout chambers, air valves, and connection chambers , ensuring compliance with the approved sequence and methodology. -Monitor and review inspectors’ performance, ensuring effective supervision and documentation of site activities. -Develop and implement QA/QC procedures applicable to stormwater and microtunneling works, including inspection and test plans (ITPs) and method statements. -Conduct and follow up on inspections for installations, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards. -Assist in the evaluation of contractors’ progress claims, variation proposals, and change requests.

What You Bring

-Proven experience in deep pipeline installations , shaft construction , and large-diameter pipe works (600 mm to 4,000 mm). -Previous UAE experience , particularly in Dubai , is essential, with strong familiarity with RTA and DM requirements. -Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline (Master’s Degree preferred). -Minimum 15 years of post-graduate experience in the supervision and construction of stormwater drainage networks and microtunneling works . -Proven ability to manage site teams and coordinate effectively with contractors, designers, and clients to ensure successful project delivery. -Demonstrated experience in non-disruptive road crossings (NDRC) , connection chambers , and interface management with existing infrastructure. -Professional accreditation or membership in a recognized engineering institution (e.g., ICE, ASCE) is an advantage. -Strong understanding of Dubai Authority procedures and standards (RTA, DM, DEWA, etc.).
