Tasks
-Provide training and support to staff on the use of manufacturing technology systems. This can include time outside of regular business hours to support production staff in the manufacturing facilities. -Manage functional setup and resolve functional issues related to manufacturing systems, documenting resolutions for future reference. -Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. -Monitor system performance and conduct regular maintenance to ensure optimal functionality. -Responsible for representing manufacturing in the deployment and evolution of the information system. This includes collaborating with various departments to ensure that the manufacturing requirements are adequately addressed and integrated into the system. -Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure data security and compliance with industry standards. Maintain policies and user access in a SharePoint repository and keep up to date. -Stay updated with the latest advancements in manufacturing technology and recommend upgrades or improvements as needed. It may involve travel to technical expos or participating in webinars. -Occasional international travel to collaborate with the global quality team in France. -Collaborate with the Operations team to identify, evaluate, and pilot implementation of technology/IT solutions that improve manufacturing/operational efficiency, quality, and communication. -Work with Local and Corporate IT personnel to manage and ensure IT manufacturing systems are well maintained, including hardware, software, and network infrastructure. This can include taking ownership of new software and hardware licenses purchase requests, renewals or cancellations and managing relationships with vendors for support. -Serve as the industrial reference for projects deployed at the group level.

What You Bring
-PMP certification or equivalent experience in managing projects -Knowledge of automation and robotics in manufacturing. -Strategic mindset with the ability to balance local and global quality requirements. -Familiarity with networks, computer and IT Infrastructure hardware and cybersecurity. -Proven experience in selecting and implementing manufacturing technology systems. -Ability to respond to urgent matters as needed. -Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. -Knowledge of data security and compliance standards. -Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, systems, and IT infrastructure. -Effective collaboration across departments and cultural boundaries. -Attention to detail and organizational skills. -Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues. -Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. -Regular travel between facilities within Ontario is required. -Certification in relevant IT fields (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft). -Experience with ERP systems and manufacturing software.
