Tasks

-Will assist project engineers in completion of specific project assignments. -You are ready to join Framatome and help deliver clean, safe energy and advance nuclear technology. -Review engineering calculations or technical documents for accuracy, appropriate content and contractual requirements -Facilitates development of plans and cost improvement programs that allow the project to achieve its business objectives. -Coordinates communication with other Framatome organizations and customers to resolve questions, plan, and coordinate work. -Technical integration of engineering deliverables, such as specifications, technical position papers, and design reports as necessary.

What You Bring

-Preferred ability to generate CAD drawings, if applicable and using corporate standard software -Experience with design, fabrication and repair of primary system components at nuclear power plants -Familiarity with configuration management of a system design, systems engineering, or experience in plant operations -Appropriate or related technical experience with equipment, processes and control systems used in plant, field or research applications -Experience with multi-discipline projects and technical integration of engineering deliverables -Excellent verbal and written communication skills -Knowledgeable of project engineering practices and selected electrical, mechanical, and chemical equipment applications, equipment and processes -Familiar with codes and standards pertaining to the applicable discipline -Completion of a High School diploma or equivalent and at least 8 years of directly related experience -Knowledge of nuclear, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a drive for problem solving in a dynamic environment. -Ability to interpret drawings -Completion of a 2-year technical degree may substitute for 2 years of related work experience -Be familiar with the company’s safety and health policy and program -Familiarity with welding and machining activities -Familiar with commonly used concepts, practices, procedures and equipment within related field -May require being familiar with corporate drafting standards.
