Overview

Create civil engineering designs and construction plans using Civil 3D for diverse projects

Tasks

-Follow internal and/or client procedures and standards -Work in conjunction with civil engineers and project leaders to develop engineering designs -Preparing meeting minutes and communicating schedule updates to Project Controls -Utilize Civil 3D including alignments, profiles and grading features to produce engineered construction plans and sheet set ups -Evaluating design alternatives to solve constructability, code, and site challenges -Coaching, mentoring, and developing our technical standards for CADD -Reviewing encroacher"s design plans for potential conflicts and suggest required accommodation -Provide guidance for project schedules and allotted hours for project tasks

What You Bring

-Ability to work as a team player, take direction, and interact well with others -Basic understanding and concepts for Site Grading & Storm Drainage, Erosion and Sediment Control and Storm Water Best Management Practices -Attention to detail, strong problem-solving and good communication skills -Associate or Technical Degree in CAD, Survey, Construction, or Engineering or B.S. in Engineering, Technology or Construction related fields from an accredited institution or acceptable equivalent. B.S strongly preferred. -Excellent written and verbal communication skills -Proficiency with Civil 3D preferred -Applies creativity and independent thought to solve problems -Pro-actively troubleshoot and problem-solve with practical, client-focused solutions
