Tasks

-Lead, mentor, and support a team of engineers and technical specialists. -Stay informed on emerging technologies, industry trends, and regulatory changes. -Collaborate with project managers to meet milestones and delivery timelines. -Oversee the design, development, and execution of renewable energy projects. -Represent the organization at industry forums, conferences, and client engagements. -Cultivate and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders. -Establish and uphold best practices, standards, and quality assurance protocols. -Identify and evaluate new business opportunities in the renewable energy sector. -Promote the adoption of innovative approaches in the design and implementation of renewable energy systems. -Contribute to proposal development, RFP responses, and client presentations. -Ensure projects meet technical standards, regulatory requirements, and budgetary goals. -Define and communicate the strategic direction of the Renewable Energy engineering practice.

What You Bring

-Familiarity with permitting processes, interconnection requirements, and utility coordination. -Deep understanding of solar PV, wind, battery storage, microgrids, and grid integration. -Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering, or equivalent experience. -Professional registration (PE, LS, LA) in one or more states where Timmons Group operates is preferred. -Demonstrated success in managing complex renewable energy projects. -Minimum of 10 years of experience in renewable energy engineering, including at least 3 years in a leadership role. -Strong leadership, communication, and client engagement skills. -Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
