Manage end-to-end import/export logistics, documentation, customs compliance, and carrier negotiations.

Tasks

-Monitor the end-to-end procedure in export/import i.e. from paper removal to handover of Shipment to import i.e. from receiving instruction to receiving goods to our warehouse or the given destination and ensure compliance with company and legal requirement -Liaise with the warehouse team to check on the availability of the products -Prepare all the necessary documents required for smooth transit of the products from the origin to desired destination -Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs/shipping quotes and efficiency -Follow up Exit Documents and timely submission to the customs authority -Carry out the necessary documentation and system updating -Review, select carriers and negotiate contracts and best rates to control logistics costs achieve profitable deals and mutual satisfaction -Review and prepare the L/C, prepare docs under LC terms -Coordinate with ports, customs, RTA and concerned government departments to ensure the transition of product is unhampered

What You Bring

-Good written and verbal communication skills -Quick learner with multi-tasking ability and adapt to a variety of challenges -3+ years of shipping, receiving warehouse operations, inventory management, and import/export operations experience -Experience in vehicle registration -Experience filing, experience processing shipments using UPS and FedEx software basic proficiency with MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Google Docs, Sheets and Slides -Able to work independently and within a team -Strong sense of time management and urgency -4+ years relevant UAE experience in logistics operations, JAFZA experience preferable -Good understanding of Custom clearance, Compliance, Shipping documents, Supplier Negotiation, LCs, Knowledge of INCO terms
