Assist senior inspectors on highway/bridge projects, performing inspections and material testing.

Tasks

-Establish engineering controls for the construction contractor and inspection of the work -Perform measurement and documentation of completed work -Perform on-site material testing and sampling -Prepare daily inspection reports -Read and interpret construction plans and technical specifications -Monitor contractor compliance with plans and specifications -Apply safety philosophy to all job responsibilities and ability to work safely in an outside environment
