Tasks

-Maintain accurate records, encourage teamwork, and perform other duties to support safe and productive operations. -Participate in safety initiatives, including hazard assessments, toolbox meetings, permit compliance, and addressing unsafe conditions. -Inspect work for quality, support incident investigations, and contribute to continuous improvement. -Perform general labour and support skilled trades, including material handling, equipment operation, maintenance, installation, and site cleanup. -Assist with project coordination by providing progress updates, ensuring materials, equipment, and PPE are available, and supporting schedule adherence.

What You Bring

-Physically capable of lifting and moving heavy materials, standing for extended periods, and working in industrial environments such as heights, confined spaces, and varying weather conditions. -Minimum 3 years of experience working on industrial and construction sites, specifically within fuel terminals; must have a valid driver’s license and a clean 5-year abstract with fewer than 6 demerits. -Proven experience in obtaining, managing, and completing work permits with proper sign-off, and safely working on live systems using Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and system isolation protocols. -Must meet all site access and pre-employment requirements including Suncor web-based training, be proficient in English (written and verbal), and have reliable transportation to the site. -Must meet mandatory safety training requirements including WHMIS, Fall Protection, Aerial Work Platform, Confined Space Entry, CSTS, and optionally PM03 Petroleum Mechanic Training and Certification.
