The Role
Overview
Lead and manage structural & architectural scope for construction projects.

Tasks
-Successfully identify and develop a specific niche. -Build strong win-win relationships with other departments within Lemartec, including accounting, marketing, business development and estimating. -Track and procure new work through the subcontractor community. -Proactively build and sustain relationships with targeted clients. -Ensure that every member of the team has a comprehensive Business Development plan to meet and exceed their targets. -Recruit new qualified subcontractors. -Ensure that the project quality control plan is in effect and followed. -Develops contingency plans proactively to mitigate potential risks - in the event an item of the critical path is delayed. -Submit project change orders to clients within Lemartec’s standards. -Work with on-site Superintendents to deliver the highest possible quality and customer satisfaction. -Attend industry, social and non-profit events to build relationships and identify new opportunities. -Initiate new projects with architects, engineers and owners. -Manage multiple project teams successfully while maximizing both profit and client satisfaction. -Complete and distribute meeting minutes within 24 hours of progress meetings. -Complete WIP reports within scheduled timeframe. -Recruit high-caliber personnel from outside sources, college campuses, etc. -Proactively develop relationships with the subcontractor community. -Prepare, complete, and submit O&M manuals to clients within 30 days of substantial completion. -Lead the pre-construction/RFP package effort with the help of the estimating department. -Proactively communicate with the client team at all times. -Ensure accuracy of subcontractor requisitions. -Ensure that the punch list is completed to the client’s satisfaction. -Attend interviews as required to close new business. -Develops solutions to ensure that issues never become problems. Studies bid specs carefully, looking for potential issues before the commencement of the project. -Ensure that the job processes are followed in accordance with policy. -Lead a team of Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers to deliver exceptional results.

What You Bring
-Understands the subcontractor scope and contracts, and identifies opportunities and risks. -Minimum 10 Years of experience as a project manager overseeing the Structural & Architectural scope of work for commercial and industrial projects. Preferred 15+ years of experience of Structural & Architectural preferred. -Prior experience with data center projects is required. -Familiarity with local specifications and supplements to each and with reading blueprints -Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering or Construction. Additional 5 years of relevant work experience in lieu of experience. -Excellent organizational, presentation and interpersonal skills. -Proficiency in planning, scheduling, and production, in P6, Microsoft Project or equivalent software and in Microsoft Office suite of software-Excel/Word/Outlook also needed along with estimating software knowledge. -High degree of professionalism and strong work ethic
