Tasks

-Work closely with Rowan’s Development, Engineering, and Procurement teams to ensure seamless project handoff and operational readiness. Sr. Construction Manager -Responsible for interface management (suppliers, GCs, AHJ, community impact) -Stewardship of site permits -Conduct weekly/daily delay surveys to maintain CPM schedule and work with PMs to update schedule in real-time -Manage logistics across multiple sites -Monitor and report project progress to senior leadership, identifying potential risks and proposing mitigation strategies -Lead the end-to-end construction for data center projects, from development to final delivery -Oversee contractors, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure quality control, safety, and compliance with project requirements -Ensure all site personnel follow OSHA safety requirements and stop all unsafe operations -Drive continuous improvement initiatives, evaluating construction processes and implementing best practices -Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope -Work with Rowan team members as we approach substantial completion to assemble all close out documents, O&M manuals and warranty, preventive maintenance agreements-etc -Responsible for actively monitoring the safety of all site infrastructure, substation and core/shell construction -Develop trusting relationships with clients, JHA’s, GC’s, sub-contractors to aid in the successful delivery of the project

What You Bring

-Proven experience managing large teams of contractors and subcontractors, with a focus on delivering projects on time and under budget -Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills -Knowledge of construction methods and technologies and an ability to interpret technical drawings and contracts -Knowledge of construction worksite safety practices -Working knowledge of green building practices -Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously -Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field; a combination of education and relevant experience will also be considered -9+ years of experience in managing data center construction projects or large-scale infrastructure and/or mission critical projects -Knowledge of building-code requirements and scheduling method -Proficient in Procore and other construction management software -Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and highly cross-functional environment -Strong understanding of construction methodologies, scheduling software (such as Primavera P6 or MS Project), and project management tools like Procore or similar -Professional certification including CCM (Certified Construction Manager), AC (Associate Constructor), or CPC (Certified Professional Constructor) preferred -OSHA 30 is required -Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capability to make critical decisions under pressure
