Tasks

-Support the growth and development of Team Managers. -Deliver significant innovation projects with supporting business case and success metrics. -Lead and motivate a team of technical professionals, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment. -Drive the integration of new technologies to improve internal processes. -Meet or exceed financial targets while ensuring high-quality service and client satisfaction. -Promote a culture of innovation, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement. -Build and maintain strong relationships with Project Managers, Business Units, and key industry contacts. -Proactively identify and manage health and safety risks. -Develop and implement operational standards, best practices, and quality control processes to mitigate risk. -Develop and implement strategies to enhance the Discipline's technical skills. -Maintain deep technical expertise and stay current with industry trends within Structures Transportation. -Encourage the use of new solutions and showcase successful efficiency improvements. -Identify and pursue opportunities for organic business growth. -Actively solicit and act on client feedback to improve service delivery.

-Deep understanding of the Canadian Transportation market, including current trends, challenges, and opportunities. -Proven leadership experience in managing and developing high-performing teams. -The ability to anticipate, examine, and adopt new and innovative solutions is a crucial driver for the continual and progressive advancement of our business performance. In our culture, people are empowered to reflect and question current practices and seek forward looking solutions to today’s problems and tomorrow’s opportunities. -Experience with various project delivery models (e.g., design-bid-build, design-build). -A passion for innovation, an aptitude for leveraging technology and a commitment to continuous improvement. -A variety of EFAP tools and online resources to support well-being are available to all employees. -Strong business development acumen, with a successful track record of identifying, pursuing, and winning new business opportunities in the market. -Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) licensed in Canada, with extensive experience in civil engineering design and construction. -Knowledge of relevant codes and standards. -Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. -15 or more years of relevant experience.
