Tasks

Dant Clayton's Architectural Design Lead is responsible for the design process for stadiums and arenas from concept through design development and into construction documentation. This role will bring a balance of creative problem-solving, technical competency, and collaboration to every assignment, and will contribute to both the success and evolution of the design process and to the culture of Dant Clayton. -Collaborate with preconstruction, estimating, and construction teams to align design with budget, scope, and schedule. -Execute design intent through drawings, 3D models, and specifications that meet DC standards. -Present design concepts and progress to clients, stakeholders, and internal teams. -Engage in concept development, design exploration, and document production. -Participate in proposals, business development, and pursuit efforts as needed. -Develop conceptual ideas that translate the project vision into functional layouts with creative and practical design elements. -Work closely with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders to develop design strategies and present design proposals.

We are looking for a well-rounded and personable professional with leadership skills and strong client relations skills who is motivated, flexible, and outgoing, and performs well in a team-oriented environment -Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture from an accredited program. -5+ years of professional architectural design experience. -Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Tekla, Adobe Creative Suite, and/or other rendering software. -Strong portfolio that demonstrates conceptual design skills and technical acumen.
