The Role

Overview

Manage engineering data, ensure integrity, improve SAP processes, and drive analytics.

Tasks

-Maintain common Engineering practices, including updating and maintaining work instructions for SAP, and act as Key User for Engineering -Lead identification, prioritization, and correction of data-related issues -Build, validate, and revise computer-generated label formatting to ensure database consistency -Collaborate with multi-functional teams to develop processes to ensure data integrity -Collaborate with IT on SAP improvements that boost data accuracy and business process improvements -Build analytical insights through the collection of data and creation of data models -Own the Engineering Change process, including workflow and cycle time management

What You Bring

-Understand internal customer needs and provide data-based insights -Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data manipulation, reporting, and visualization -Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently -Demonstrated integrity, discretion, and sound judgment in handling confidential information -Employ MS PowerBI, Excel, Smartsheet, and other quantitative tools for the manipulation and analysis of substantial data sets -Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence interacting across all levels of the organization -Preferred: Experience with SAP, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) concepts, Smartsheet, and Power BI -Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience -Proven experience in data analysis or analytics, with the ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations
