Assist civil design and permitting for land development projects as an EIT.

Tasks

-Assist with local, state, and federal permitting processes (MDE, SHA, county-level agencies) -Collaborate with team members to prepare project schedules and cost estimates -Prepare construction documents, plans, and technical specifications using AutoCAD Civil 3D -Conduct site visits and prepare field observation and construction administration reports associated with Site Development -Support engineering design for commercial, residential, and institutional land development projects -Perform site layout, grading, stormwater management, utility design, and erosion/sediment control calculations

What You Bring

-Valid Driver’s License -Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically. -Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET-Accredited Program -0-2 Years of experience -Ability to maintain required certifications. -Exposure to local permitting agencies or review processes in Maryland or the Mid-Atlantic region -Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. -Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification -Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. -Previous internships or work experience in the Engineering field. -Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. -Familiarity with stormwater management and Storm Drain Computations and software (e.g., HydroCAD, Civil3D) -Previous internship or work experience in civil/site design or land development -General knowledge of required design software (MicroStation, AutoCAD, Revit) -Good communication and technical writing skills.
