Supports finance team with AP/AR, reconciliations, payroll, reporting, and month‑end duties.

Tasks

-Maintains up-to-date Accounts Payable System to ensure accurate and timely payments. -As required, collects and complies data in support of budget preparation, monthly/quarterly/annual reporting, forecasting, regulatory requests and other special requests. -Ensures accurate input into the Financial Information System. -Oversees Account Receivable function for third party invoicing. -Assists in the month-end process: processing monthly journal vouchers, reconciling subledgers and investigating and resolving any discrepancies. -Verifies accounts payable invoices and processes for payment.

What You Bring

-Minimum three years’ related experience. -Post-secondary courses in accounting/business administration. -Knowledge of mainframe financial systems including: AP, AR, project accounting, payroll, PA, GL. -Knowledge of Excel. -High School Diploma or equivalent is required. A Diploma/Certificate in a related field preferred. -Knowledge of Oracle is preferred. -Experience working well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment is preferred. -Experience with multi-tasking and adapting to change is preferred. -Basic bookkeeping knowledge for debits, credits, reconciliation, ability to interpret financial statements, understanding of how a balance sheet work.
