Tasks

-Dive into drawings and project specs to create detailed take-offs and accurate cost estimates. -Prepare and present estimate reports or bids for review by project managers, owners, and vendors. -Review, compare, and analyze quotes to recommend the best options. -Build strong relationships with vendors, negotiating the best prices and ensuring quality partnerships. -Identify, quantify, and manage cost factors that impact projects.

What You Bring

-3+ years of experience working with national customers in an estimating capacity preferred. -Prior experience in construction estimating — retail remodels and rollouts a big plus! -Strong organizational skills and the ability to lead through influence. -Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction estimating software. -Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience/training).
