Overview

Fabricate and solder delicate aerospace components, ensuring safety and quality.

Tasks

-Work in partnership with Engineering to Identify improvement opportunities, resulting in a decrease of lead time, cost savings, elimination of waste, or safety improvement -Verify calibrated equipment, material with expiration dates and written instructions are up to date and accurate prior to use in production. -Properly manage the traceability of numerous components to ensure assembly accuracy. -Responsible for ensuring that compliance with Environmental, Health, and Safety standards are met.. -Perform manufacturing processes on complex assemblies following written instructions -Obtain and maintain Certified Operator Status following site guidelines. -Perform mechanical soldering on tiny/delicate assemblies

What You Bring

-Ability to work on complex projects and/or products with minimal direction and knowledge to involve required support from Engineering or Supervision. -Attention to detail in regards to measuring and testing parts -Thorough Understanding of mechanical drawings relating to sub assemblies, tooling, and top level parts. -Adherence to safety standards and requirements for chemical processing of parts -Experience with high pressure equipment and knowledge/understanding of safety regarding it -Skilled at diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical assemblies issues. -Experience and comfort soldering under a microscope for hours at a time.
