Tasks
-Partner with our Operations Team to properly transfer awarded projects and perform buyouts when necessary -Estimate interim designs to track and confirm pricing -Continuously follow up on all bid projects and accurately forecast future awards/probabilities -Manage estimating processes and timelines to meet short and long-term company objectives -Receive new project documents and evaluate contents to conceptually understand the project including type of building, systems, key scope elements, and major factors for awards -Perform research to produce accurate, complete, and competitive pricing -Analyze bid documents in conjunction with our Business Development Team to qualify targeted opportunities -Communicate with customers to define project scope, address deficiencies, negotiate pricing, and build relationships -Source, contact, and solicit bids while distributing support documents to subcontractors and vendors -Prepare and present completed estimating packages to company executives and senior management

What You Bring
-Strong verbal and written communication skills -Able to provide a high level of customer service -Five or more years of relevant mechanical estimating experience with a concentration in multifamily, high-rise, and assisted living projects -Proficient in Microsoft Office and estimating software (AutoBid preferred) -Ability to multi-task in a high volume, fast-paced work environment -Must be organized, detail-oriented and efficient
