Tasks

-Work closely with business and engineering teams to deliver reliable solutions. -Ensure code quality, security, and maintainability through best practices. -Define and implement technical strategy and architectural patterns for a new data platform. -Lead and mentor a distributed development team. -Design and optimise scalable data pipelines and data models.

What You Bring

You'll define the technical direction, drive architectural decisions, and mentor a small, collaborative team of developers. A strong background in Python (including Pandas and PySpark) is essential, along with deep experience in data systems architecture, AWS, and modern development practices (Agile, CI/CD, OOP). -Expertise in Python with strong experience in Pandas and PySpark. -Extensive experience in software design and architecture. -Degree in Computer Science or related field; AWS Associate certifications strongly preferred. -Proven experience with AWS tools (Glue, Athena, Redshift, S3, etc.). -Strong understanding of CI/CD, Agile development, and test automation. -Extensive experience leading software development teams.
