Lead traffic engineer managing transportation planning, traffic analysis, and project delivery.

Tasks
-Maintain client communications; prepare technical reports and presentations. -Coordinate internal resources to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and with quality control. -Transportation master plans; Operational analysis, including micro-simulation. -Oversee the assessments and preparation of reports, drawings and other deliverables prepared by junior staff. -Complex traffic impact studies for land development. -Assist in business development activities to continue to grow our group. -Environmental assessment and construction traffic impact analyses. -Attend public/private meetings and make presentations as a representative of EXP and /or our clients to municipal Road authorities and MTO.

What You Bring
-Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite. -P. Eng. designation with PEO is required. -Proficient in the application of specialized traffic assessments and/or transportation planning software (Synchro, VISSIM, Aimsum and EMME). -Experience in project management, report preparation, and client relationship management. -Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as advanced technical writing abilities. -Strong interpersonal skills that focus on meeting customer requirements. -Strong organizational and time management skills. -Valid Ontario driver’s license (minimum G2). -ITE Canada membership desired. -Degree in Civil Engineering with 10+ years of related experience, preferably with Ontario Municipal Road and Provincial authorities and land development. -RAQS (Registry, Appraisal and Qualification System) certification for Traffic Impact Analysis, or qualifications to certify. -Attention to detail and accuracy. -Experience leading and working on Transportation Master Plan projects is desirable.
