Tasks
Occasional travel to properties or inspections may be required. You will assist the team in the smooth running of the property portfolio, ensuring that all properties are well-maintained, compliant, and managed efficiently. The role will involve coordinating maintenance works, communicating with landlords and tenants, handling administration, and supporting day-to-day operations. -Maintain accurate property records and update databases. -Assist with arranging property inspections, inventories, and check-in/check-out appointments. -Assist with rent collection and chasing arrears when required. -Support compliance activities — ensuring safety certificates, insurance, and property documentation are up to date. -Handle general enquiries by phone and email in a professional and timely manner. -Liaise with tenants, landlords, and contractors regarding maintenance and repairs. -Prepare reports, letters, and tenancy documentation as needed. -Provide administrative and operational support to the Property Management team. -Provide support to the lettings team when required (e.g. tenancy renewals, referencing, marketing updates). -Log, monitor, and follow up on maintenance requests through the property management system. -Attend occasional property visits or meetings off-site as part of operational duties.
