Mobile Compactor Repair Tech

Overview

Repair, maintain, and install mobile compactors and power units on-site.

Tasks

-Refer more complex repairs to the Technician A or Lead Technician. -Fabricates steel components for compactors -Fabricates replacement hoses and fittings. -Performs on-site repairs at customer locations. -Cuts steel using a plasma cutter or torch -Replacement of hydraulic cylinders. -Follows all safety policies and procedures. -Weld steel components using MIG and Arc welding equipment -Install company and safety decals in accordance with company standard diagram on all compactors.

What You Bring

-Good written and verbal communication skills -Ability to utilize mig & stick welders, plasma cutter, airless paint sprayers -At least 2 years of prior experience with hydraulic pumps and hoses. -Ability to follow directions with minimal supervisory involvement. -Valid driver’s license. -Demonstrated proficiency with welding, hydraulics or electronics.
