Tasks

-Take responsibility for leading small projects and sub tasks from a technical perspective -Support and guide more junior team members -Prepare preliminary and detailed design analysis, calculations, specifications and related documentation for civil and structural works -Communicate designs effectively to the BIM teams

What You Bring

-Eligibility for Security Clearance -Good knowledge of design working practices and installation requirements of the discipline. -Nuclear Industry recognised training and qualifications -Project Management experience -Awareness of risk identification, quantification, management and of HSE requirements -Communicate effectively with other disciplines and construction teams -Security Clearance -Minimum BEng Civil or Structural Engineering -Chartership or Near with ICE or IStructE -Proven experience within the nuclear industry. -Requirements Management experience -Seismic design experience -Communicate confidently and authoritatively with clients -Knowledge and experience of common forms of contracts -Experience in leading small teams and supporting more junior engineers. -Experience of ACI 318/349, ASCE 4 and ASCE 43. -Experience with new and historic structures, including optioneering assessments. -CSCS or CCNSG
