Tasks

As Quantity Surveyor, you’ll play a key role in managing all commercial and financial aspects of projects from tender through to final account. You’ll work closely with site teams, subcontractors, and the management team to ensure projects are delivered on budget and with strong commercial control. -Preparing cost estimates, budgets, and forecasts -Producing monthly valuations and applications for payment -Monitoring project costs, variations, and cash flow -Assessing and certifying subcontractor payments -Preparing and submitting tender and contract documents -Managing all commercial and contractual aspects of multiple projects -Procuring and managing subcontractors and suppliers -Working closely with the management team to ensure strong financial control and reporting -Measuring and valuing works (on-site and from drawings) -Preparing and negotiating final accounts

What You Bring

-Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry (main contractor or developer background preferred) -Strong knowledge of residential and/or care home projects -Excellent negotiation, communication, and organisational skills -Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying (preferred) -Proficient in MS Excel and general project cost reporting -Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
