The Role

Overview

Lead regional practice, drive revenue growth, manage P&L, and oversee engineering projects

Tasks

-Responsible for overall talent growth and development including recruitment, performance reviews, and training needs -Externally focuses on networking with clients and leading the team to generate new revenue and increase existing revenue streams -Responsible for implementing and enforcing company-wide standards and playbooks -Ultimate responsibility for technical execution of the project inclusive of ensuring QAQC -Responsible for coordinating office events -Responsible for implementing Vision 2025 and 2035 initiatives -Responsible for a P & L and achieving high level of financial performance including tracking of NEF, UC, UC%, multiplier, billing, collections, etc. -Cross-sell our services to multiple clients and know the local marketplace -Establish yearly budgets and business plans; collections accounts receivable. -Write proposals and negotiate contracts, risk mitigation -Collaborate with Practice Area Directors for staffing and project pursuits -Manages the (GEO) profit and loss; 2 to 4.25 million (annual average for two years) NEF -Maintain high-level employee morale

What You Bring

-Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering; exceptional candidates may substitute significant years of experience -Thorough knowledge of MEP systems -5 years engineering management and P&L experience -5+ years’ experience in developing business for engineering, or construction -Minimum of 5 years of management experience -Effective team player; ability to work independently or in a team environment -Industry recognized with specialized knowledge of the local or city AEC building market -15+ years of relevant market design experience -Excellent organization skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously -PE registration highly desired -Flexible to regional travel to sites within the East Coast; international occasion travel may be necessary
