The Role

Overview

CAD/BIM designer for aviation stormwater projects, delivering 3D civil designs.

Tasks

-Coordinate with complimentary disciplines at a project level which may include members of the structural, electrical, mechanical, geometry, and architectural team. -Produce preliminary and final drawings in accordance with company and client standards while advancing the use of 3D modeling along with project site grading surfacing within the design team. -Produce conceptual and final construction design plans for utilities, grading, and stormwater. -Collaborate with engineers and the design team to advance and complete a variety of project types. -Assists junior CAD engineers. -Assist and coordinate with team members on construction activities such as shop drawing review. -Support design services during construction activities. -Produce spreadsheets that summarize quantities and estimated unit costs.

What You Bring

-Minimum 5+ years of experience in a Design Consulting Environment. -Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and prioritize tasks in a logical order. -Proficiency in spoken and written English -Proficient in QGIS, Civil3D, AutoCAD -Bachelor's degree in a related field is highly preferred along with technical degree in BIM/CAD software is strongly desired. -Experience with file conversion and file management between multiple digital environments. -Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D, REVIT BIM and QGIS.
