Tasks
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations across a range of projects, ensuring all work is delivered safely, to a high standard of quality, and completed on time and within budget. -Support commercial teams with project measurement and valuations. -Oversee site resources, including labour, materials, and equipment. -Attend and lead site meetings; liaise with clients and stakeholders. -Lead, support, and develop site teams; conduct staff appraisals. -Manage all on-site activities and subcontractors to ensure smooth project delivery. -Maintain accurate records, including site diaries and progress reports. -Assist in tenders and planning project delivery strategies. -Conduct risk assessments and produce RAMS as required. -Monitor project progress and report to senior management. -Interpret drawings and specifications to guide site operations. -Deliver toolbox talks and clear instructions to site teams. -Promote a strong safety culture and uphold company standards. -Identify and resolve on-site issues; manage project risks. -Ensure compliance with all Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality (HSEQ) standards.

What You Bring
TEXO Recruitment is seeking an experienced Site Manager to join our external construction client based in Aberdeen. Our client is well-regarded for their expertise in civil engineering, drilling, and utility services. -Strong understanding of construction methods, project planning, and health & safety regulations -Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively -SMSTS Certification -A technical qualification in Civil Engineering or a related field is advantageous -Proficient in Microsoft Office applications -Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills -Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently or collaboratively as part of a team -Full UK driving licence -Valid CSCS Card (Black or Gold) -Legal right to work in the UK without restrictions (please note: sponsorship is not available) -Demonstrated experience as a Site Manager on civil engineering projects
