Tasks

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations across a range of projects, ensuring all work is delivered safely, to a high standard of quality, and completed on time and within budget. -Support commercial teams with project measurement and valuations. -Oversee site resources, including labour, materials, and equipment. -Attend and lead site meetings; liaise with clients and stakeholders. -Lead, support, and develop site teams; conduct staff appraisals. -Manage all on-site activities and subcontractors to ensure smooth project delivery. -Maintain accurate records, including site diaries and progress reports. -Assist in tenders and planning project delivery strategies. -Conduct risk assessments and produce RAMS as required. -Monitor project progress and report to senior management. -Interpret drawings and specifications to guide site operations. -Deliver toolbox talks and clear instructions to site teams. -Promote a strong safety culture and uphold company standards. -Identify and resolve on-site issues; manage project risks. -Ensure compliance with all Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality (HSEQ) standards.

What You Bring

Our client is well-regarded for their expertise in civil engineering, drilling, and utility services. -Strong understanding of construction methods, project planning, and health & safety regulations -Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively -SMSTS Certification -A technical qualification in Civil Engineering or a related field is advantageous -Proficient in Microsoft Office applications -Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills -Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently or collaboratively as part of a team -Full UK driving licence -Valid CSCS Card (Black or Gold) -Legal right to work in the UK without restrictions (please note: sponsorship is not available) -Demonstrated experience as a Site Manager on civil engineering projects
