The Role

Overview

Splice, test, and troubleshoot aerial/underground coaxial cable for telecom projects.

Tasks

-Optimize new Nodes and splice in node splits to reduce capacity -Utilize RF Meters and TDR (time-domain reflectometers) -Work in outdoor utility construction sites -Splice, sweep and troubleshoot existing aerial and underground coaxial cable

What You Bring

-You are familiar with Spectrum plant (preferred) -You have a current DOT Med card, CDL (Preferred.) -You have a track record of completing work with a high level of quality -You have Aerial experience on the Construction "pre-install" side of Telecom -You have a valid drivers license with clean driving record past 3 years. -You can read blueprints, permits, and constructions prints -Read CATV telecommunication design and prints -You have at least 1-3 years of splicing and sweeping -You are comfortable working on ladder or bucket truck
